Cereal Nation is the brainchild and personal project of Studio1212 founder and creative director
Max Suriaganda. This children’s clothing line has consistently produced thematic and cutting-edge collections since its establishment in 2010.
In 2014, the brand was approached by Uniqlo South East Asia, who had just recently entered the Indonesian market, to participate in its campaign of “Feel The SEA”, an initiative that invited 10 of South East Asia’s leading designers to produce graphic t-shirts for
their UT line.
Having successfully taken part in the first year of the collaboration, Cereal Nation were invited back to participate in the second year. Taking part not merely as a participant, but now as the leader and main focus of the project, Max took the lead by creating elaborate designs that proved to be a critical and commercial global success for the brand. Cereal Nation boasted the most designs for the line, some of which have gone on to become cult successes in some neighboring countries.
