Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), one of Indonesia’s leading private universities, set out to revamp its website to stay competitive, not just locally but across Asia’s evolving higher education landscape. The challenge was to elevate the university’s digital presence to match its institutional credibility while aiming for a world-class image. The site needed to serve a wide spectrum of users, from students and parents to alumni and faculty, across all devices. Studio 1212 and Capital Six responded with a strategic redesign: restructuring the information architecture, refining the design language, optimizing the sitemap, and introducing features that made the website more intuitive, accessible, and aligned with how users actually navigate and explore.

The revamp was built with international standards in mind, reflecting UPH’s academic depth and diverse offerings, from undergraduate programs and global partnerships to student life and facilities. We restructured the sitemap to match how different users search, browse, and decide, ensuring each entry point felt natural. Visually, we shifted the brand’s iconic blue into a more sophisticated black-led palette, allowing content to stand out while reinforcing the university’s credibility. The result is a digital presence that reflects UPH’s position as a high-profile academic institution: confident, future-facing, and built to grow.
